On Amber Everywhere, you’ll find seasonal Paris guides, practical itineraries, museum yes/no verdicts, and tiny logistics that make travel easier (like where to find everyday essentials). Beyond France, she covers high-cost destinations with honest numbers (from Finland to Abisko in winter) and long-walk logistics (Camino de Santiago).
Expect clear takeaways, prices where they matter, and tested vegetarian tips woven throughout.

About Amber
Amber is the Colorado-born travel writer behind Amber Everywhere, now based in Paris after years in Ireland. She helps readers travel smarter, spend where it counts, and eat well (even with dietary restrictions). You’ll find Paris itineraries that skip the worst of the tourist traps, practical how-tos, and small details that smooth out a trip.
She also publishes straight answers to common culture/etiquette questions, real-world budget breakdowns for pricey destinations in the Nordics, and long-walk know-how for routes like the Camino (and beyond). Prices appear where they matter, and vegetarian and foodie tips are woven in.
Her first trip abroad was to Guatemala at 19. She speaks English, French, and Spanish, and has been vegetarian for 13+ years. Her style is happily high-low (think: splurge meal and the occasional hostel bunk).
Off-duty, she’s practicing yoga, leading a book group at the American Library in Paris, learning new photography tricks, or catching up with friends over cheese and a good glass of wine. Everything she publishes is first-hand and tested, then distilled into clear steps, realistic costs, and actionable tips you can use right away.
