The Story Behind Amber Everywhere

I love to travel, and I started Amber Everywhere to help others travel, too. My first real trip abroad was a month-long visit to Guatemala with friends in college. We lived with host families, studied in a language school, and traveled around the country practicing Spanish. I’ve been traveling pretty consistently since that trip, learning along the way.

My partner suggested that I start a travel blog years ago, but I took the plunge in 2021. Here, you’ll find travel tips, stories about my travels and life, and suggestions for making your world as big and expansive as possible.

Supporting World Travelers

I have three goals for Amber Everywhere:

To inspire others to travel, especially if you don’t know how, or where to start, or what to do when you get there.

To share the things I’ve learned, loved, appreciated, and been awed by so that you can enjoy them, too.

To equip you with the information, tools, and confidence to plan your trip, take it, then plan another one.

I’ve visited 44 US states and 25 countries (and counting!), all while on a budget.
